Complete set - Photos by Leticia Remião

Boosted by the collective of designers, architects and artists from Brazil - Italy, who embraced the idea of exploring the diversity of African Mahogany, the Mahog Project was born. The first experience of the Mahog Project was an intervention at the IDA shed at the Arte Rio 2016 international fair, in collaboration with our partners.

For this project, I developed a suite of utilities inspired by Topomorfose research, it is a visual language developed by the artist Heloisa Crocco through decades inspired in the growth lines of Brazilian trees. As an intern at Crocco Studio, I develop the whole project from the drawings to technical specifications. Furthermore, I was responsible for the communication between the studio and the manufacturer. The products were manufactured by Origin Ecological and the final product exhibition at Art Rio 2016 International Fair.
