Nowadays cities centre suffers from miss of land and green areas and in this crowded scenario, people don’t have space to stop, breathe, focus and transcend. Our homes that used to be our sanctuaries of cosiness and relaxation now are our work, school, and gym. We urge for a place for ourselves, we urge to bring back nature.
Nature Cloud is a dynamic micro-garden system that combines natural elements to the daily need for transport in dense urban areas. The comfortable plant cabins are scattered around central areas occupying a place where a car would be parked, unused for more than 90% of the time taking precious space. Nature Cloud can be used statically as a microenvironment where people can focus on meaningful activities, relax, work, eat, or just enjoy the plants. If users want to travel for small distances, they can plan the trip in the app and an autonomous vehicle will arrive, lift the cabin and transport at low speed. This project was developed with the guidance of Piero Lissoni and his team.
